Beginning with bone as both physical structure and conceptual proposition, she combines classical sculptural techniques with technological processes to reconfigure bone into body, wound, and flesh. Her work reflects on the human desire to remake the body, a desire given new reach by technologies of repair, redesign, and reinvention.
