Beginning with bone as both physical structure and conceptual proposition, she combines classical sculptural techniques with technological processes to reconfigure bone into body, wound, flesh, and surface. Her work explores how contemporary technologies position the body as open to repair, redesign, and reinvention; a body that transforms yet endures, like the fractured bodies of Greek sculpture that first inspired her.
